SASSA might be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it really is alarmed with regards to the superior amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly sassa because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The company level designed for intervention activities a significant influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tough for your office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to help the servicing of all buyers and raise usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
